Joshua S. Bednar, D.D.S., M.D., Diplomate
Dr. Bednar understands that, for many patients, dental appointments are a stressful experience. His goal for every patient visit is to alleviate stress while providing state-of-the-art oral surgical care to his patients at Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
He is an avid Golden Gopher fan having attended college and dental school at the University of Minnesota. Following graduation from dental school, he furthered his education completing medical school and oral and maxillofacial specialty training at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic. During this training, the primary value of the Mayo Clinic was instilled in him. “The needs of the patient come first.” This molded his philosophy of care and drives his daily practice.
Upon completion of the six-year oral & maxillofacial surgery residency, he returned to the community he grew up in and joined Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery demonstrating his commitment to upholding the highest patient-care standards and a commitment to life-long learning.
Personally, Dr. Bednar resides in Plymouth with his wife Katie, a special education teacher, son Cooper and dog Sully. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, cooking, and spending time with his growing family.
